Father's Day

Today we celebrated Father's Day. Jim had chosen Hoffman Hots, potato salad, baked beans and corn on the cob for his special day. The kids have given us a subscription to NetFlix for both Mother's day and Father's day which we are enjoying very much.

Saturday-June 19th-Jack's Moving Day

Today Jim, Jeremy, Jennifer and I helped Jack move to his new apartment. It was a long day and , since Jack is on the second floor, they had to haul and muscle everything up the stairs.

Wednesday June 16th

Today was spent at the MOST in Syracuse where Josh had a lot of fun with the Air and Science exhibits. There was a huge display of Toothpick Art that was very impressive. Tomorrow they have to head back home but we'll be seeing them again soon as we are taking a trip with them across the country in July to spend some time on Friday Harbor in the San Juan Islands visiting Cathy's brother and his family.

Monday and Tuesday-June 14th and 15th

Yesterday we spent the day in Syracuse starting with seeing "The Karate Kid". After the movie we had lunch at Chili's and then went to Jennifer's to cut down a dead tree for her and then a stop at Jack's before heading home. Today they took a bike ride to Selkirk Shores, checked up on their Geocache and Josh had fun chasing some Seagulls

June 13th Josh's Birthday

Jim and Josh came up for a few days. Chris had a job picking Strawberries and couldn't come. We celebrated Josh's birthday a bit early since he was here and we gave him a 22 rifle. He's been wanting a gun he can shoot so he can go to the shooting range with Jim (all of Jim's guns are too big for him). After dinner they all went out back to Jim's target range to try out the new gun. Of course all safety rules will be followed for handling and storage of the rifle.
