Addy's 1st Birthday

Last Sunday Jeremy and Emily had a party to celebrate Addy's first birthday. She really enjoyed all the attention and thought the cake was delicious. This was her first taste of cake. The grandparents a

nd aunts and uncles joined in the celebration and it was a fun time. Emily made the birthday cake -she did such a great job.

 

 

 

Josh In All District Concert

Joshua participated in the All District Concert last night with the 6th grade and High School bands. Each group did 2 songs and it was nice to hear how far he has come with his trumpet playing.

Also, Cathy won one of the gift baskets in the raffle too! It is a summer themed one with sunscreen and beach stuff!

I wish we lived closer so we could go to these events.

Addy's Weekend Visit

On Saturday Jim and I picked up Addy at her house and brought her home to spend the night with us. On Sunday Jennifer took her back home. We had such a fun time and you couldn't ask for a better baby. She is just so happy all the time and eats whatever you offer her. We haven't found anything she doesn't like. We were surprised at how much her mobility has increased since the last time she stayed with us. It won't be long before she's walking.

On Sunday Jon and Jack came for dinner and Addy was quite
taken with Uncle Jon's whiskers. After dinner Jim and Jennifer
took her for a walk in the park before she went home.
                                        

John and Rhonda's Wedding

On Saturday Jim's brother , John, married Rhonda Phelps at the Granby Community Center. It was a  sunny but cool day and everything was beautiful. All the guests brought a dish to pass and the food was plentiful. We are so happy that John found a soul mate to spend his life with and enjoy laughing and having fun with. He truly derserves all the happiness life can give him.

Easter

Today Jim and I hosted Easter dinner for 28. The food was plentiful and delicious and everyone seemed to have a good time. The kids were even able to play outside for awhile as it was near 50 degrees and sunny until the rain came later in the afternoon.
