An Overnight With Addy

Last week Addy's Daycare was closed on President's Day so she stayed over with us Sunday night and we took her back home Monday night. We met up with Jeremy and Emily after they got done work and they treated us to dinner before we headed back home. We had a great time with Addy as usual although she has become a very busy little girl. She has discovered the pantry and like to check out what's in there and pick out something thast looks good to eat ( at least to her). She is talking more and more and seems to understand just about everything you say to her. We have such a great time when she visits.

Snow, Mother Nature's Fun and the Deer

We havve amassed quite a bit of snow in the past week or so. I think Jim has had his fill of smownlowing for awhile. We noticed this shape on one of the trees the other day and wondered if Mother Natute was questioning her decisions this winter or was she thinking back to Christmas and Candy Canes? The deer are starting to show up in the yard trying to find edible grass in the areas where the snow is not so deep due to Jim snowblowing.

A Saturday With Addy

Yesterday Jennifer was lucky enough to have Addy come to entertain her for the day. They had fun and spent part of the day at the MOST where there is always something new to see and so many fun things to do.

Snow Storm

On Tuesday we woke up to 2 feet of snow that had been packed into the driveway by strong winds overnight. Jim went out to start cleaning up and found the belt was broken on the snow blower but fortunately he had a spare. After getting the machine running it took him about 4 hours to get the yard cleaned up. He definetly needs a bigger snow blower.

Addy Comes To Visit

 On Saturday Jim and I went and picked up Addy after her nap so her parents could have a "date night". She is so much fun to have visit. She is talking more and more everytime we see her and she is very entertaining. We had a great time . On Sunday all the local kids came for dinner. This was our first get together since Christmas
It was great to see all of them.

Addy Comes To Visit

On Saturday Jim and I picked Addy up after her nap and brought her to Pulaski to spend the night while her parents had a "date night". She is talking more and more everytime we see her and she is so entertaining. We had a great time playing in her tent and watching numerous episodes of Sesame Street. She has finally got the hang of how to ride the "Tyke Bike" and scoots all over the house on it. On Sunday the kids all came for dinner. It was good to see all of them. Everyone is doing well .

Christmas 2013

We had a great few days over Christmas getting together with family. On Christmas Eve Jennifer, Jack, Jon, Jeremy and Emily and Addy came for an evening of snack foods and games. Jennifer and Jack spent the night. On Christmas morning Jack, Jennifer and Jon were here to open gifts with us. Jeremy and Emily want to start a tradition with Addy of having Christmas morning be at their own home. They did go to Watertown in the afternoon to Grandma's home were all the relatives had gathered-a really full house. On Thursday Jim and Cathy and the boys arrived and then on Friday the guys went out and tried out Jim's new M1Grande that he had brought with him from Ohio. Later they took Addy out to play in the snow for awhile. That evening all the kids arrived again and we did gifts  with Jim, Cathy and the boys and Jeremy, Emily and Addy. On Saturday Jim and Cathy headed back to Ohio and Jim and I had a relaxing day.
